WWE TLC is a mere few days away and only now are the company releasing match announcements.
The decision to announce later than usual is something that will happen more often as Vince McMahon believes in today's world of WWE matches don't need to be announced in advance.
One match that was planned might actually have been nixed.Â
WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura had been planned to defend his title against Braun Strowman as of late week, but plans had to be dropped on last week's Friday Night SmackDown because Strowman is dealing with an injury and couldn't do the angle, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
As reported yesterday, Strowman is dealing with back spasms, although the company line is "hip issues" forcing him to miss a recent WWE Live event. The injury shouldn't keep him out too long but looks to have jeopardized this match for now.
