Dio Maddin Will Not Be Returning To WWE Raw Commentary Team

Ryan Satin reported on WWE Backstage that Dio Maddin still has aspirations of becoming a WWE Superstar and thus will not be returning to the Raw broadcast table.

Maddin has not featured on WWE TV since last month when he was attacked by Brock Lesnar during Raw. It has been widely reported his absence was due to selling the angle, but Maddin actually wants to return to the WWE Performance Center to train.

Samoa Joe, who recently impressed WWE officials with his commentary will be filling in until he is cleared for in-ring action.
