In the opening match of tonight's WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames pay-per-view event, Team Ripley defeated Team Baszler in the Women's WarGames Match.

Ripley and Candice LeRae were forced into a 4-on-2 situation after Dakota Kai turned on Team Ripley by viciously assaulting Tegan Nox.
