Update On Jim Cornette’s Resignation From NWA

Dave Lagana is reportedly taking the majority of the blame for the offensive line uttered by Jim Cornette on latest edition of NWA Powerrr, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Lagana attributed missing the line in edit due to exhaustion, but the NWA took the most offense to Jim Cornette's refusal to apologize for what he said. Meltzer also noted that other poor taste stuff has been edited from the broadcasts.

In addition, NWA also did not like how Cornette had become so anti-AEW on his official podcast as their audience is a crossover and they were causing upset to their fanbase which is essentially shared with AEW Dark on YouTube.

Cornette recently resigned from his position as a commentator for NWA.
