14 years ago, the world lost one of the most popular and talented wrestlers of all time in Eddie Guerrero. The news of Eddie's untimely death sent shockwaves throughout the entire professional wrestling world when the news was broke on November 13, 2005, and for many, it is still hard for many to believe he’s gone.
Eddie Guerrero had wrestled around the entire world and for much of his career and fought valiantly to enter the world championship picture, which alluded him for much of his career, but Guerrero had a special talent that couldn't be taught and eventually took him to the top, charisma and passion.
Eddie was infectious and extremely popular with his hard work paying off and on a magical night in 2004, Guerrero rose to the top and defeated "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at No Way Out, which you can watch below.
Sadly, the following year, the 38-years-old would pass leaving behind a Hall of Fame legacy unfinished. His death would later be revealed as acute heart failure due to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. His loss was felt around the world, he was mourned by friends, family, and fans, but even more than a decade later, it has not stopped.
