Update On CM Punk's Status For WWE Backstage

Former WWE Champion CM Punk will not be appearing on tonight's WWE Backstage, according to PWInsider.

We reported a few weeks ago that Punk had an audition that reportedly went well, but little more has come of it. PWinsider notes Punk is not in Los Angeles and is not signed to FOX.

WWE Backstage will officially premiere tonight on FS1 at 11pm ET, and will be hosted by Renee Young & Booker T.
