Randy Orton Reportedly Pushed for On-Screen Alliance with The Revival

According to a report from Fightful.com, Randy Orton personally spoke to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon about forming a stable with current SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival after working with them on several occasions on SmackDown. As fans may recall, Orton seemed to have a short-lived partnership with The Revival on SmackDown prior to the recent WWE Draft, which saw Orton get moved over to the Monday Night Raw roster while The Revival were assigned to the SmackDown roster.

No word on why exactly Orton's suggestion was ultimately shot down.
