In a further update on the story that the recent WWE/Saudi Arabia travel issues were more than mechanical error, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer is reporting that a source in WWE has told him that senior officials are trying to obtain as much footage as they can from talent so they can further back up their claims that mechanical issues were the problem.
We reported earlier, Former WWE Spanish announcer Hugo Savinovich revealed a source in the company told him that WWE talent were held up from leaving Saudi Arabia because Vince McMahon pulled the live Crown Jewel pay-per-view feed in the country due to the fact his is owed millions for previous events. The Crown Prince was not happy about this move by McMahon and had talent held up from leaving the country.
Additional sources are noting that Crown Jewel aired on a tape delay, which is leading many to further speculate McMahon did pull the live feed and aired the show later as they have aired live in the past.
The big question is whether the story is true that the beginning of the show didn't air on television in that region, which I've heard people say but haven't heard from anyone in KSA aside from one tweet early in the show that was sent to me.

One person in the company said WWE is trying to get video from as much talent as possible to claim the mechanical issues on the plane were the problem. Just the fact they would do this is very strange.

WWE did receive a cash payment of $60 million since the end of the quarter that was an accounts receivable that wouldn't have been figured into the 10-Q report.
