Original Plan For Finn Balor Before Move To WWE NXT

Finn Balor is now apart of the NXT roster once again, but this wasn't the original plan for him following the recent WWE Draft.

The company had plans for Balor to be apart of the SmackDown brand, according to the Wrestling Observer:

"When he lost to [Bray] Wyatt badly [at SummerSlam], the idea was he’d go on his sabbatical and switch to SmackDown on his return, but then when the ratings ended up going the way they did, he was moved to NXT with the idea that his star power could make more of a difference there."
