NXT Superstar Jordan Myles has addressed his recent comments online after calling out the WWE for a the controversial t-shirt that many have seen as an allusion to blackface.
On Twitter, Myles criticized the company for hiring Hulk Hogan after his termination in 2015, as well as Ring of Honor, referring to former two-time ROH World Champion as an "Uncle Tom."
On his Instagram page today, the NXT star started out his latest statement by saying that his tweets from Monday were both "completely disrespectful" and unprofessional.
With that in mind though, Myles said that whilst he was going to apologize, it wasn't going to be for what he said, but his apology is for not giving a you know what about what the fans think of him.
In his statement, the 31-year-old said that he'd been lied too, used and mistreated by people he considered associates and that nobody can call him fake.
Later on, Myles said how he's never asked for anything in the past, not even his spot in WWE or New Japan Pro Wrestling, but said he'd earned everything the old fashioned way.
Ending the statement, Myles said how he would rise from his past like a Dark Phoenix, and used the #ForTheCulture that he has encouraged others to use as a statement against WWE's alleged racial mistreatment of him.
