The NJPW of America CEO Takami Obari and NJPW Chairman Naoki Sugabayashi spoke at a press conference revealed plans that involve three phases, finding talent, running the recent events in the United States and other countries, and the current phase, which is officially establishing this new subsidiary.
The new subsidiary will be based in Los Angeles dojo in California.
The brand will begin running events in November with live events set for a number of U.S. cities and states. The live events will occasionally run alongside those of the main NJPW brand but shouldn't lessen their output. Below is a breakdown of where the new brand will have live events:
- Texas - 4 cities.
- Middle America - 7 cities, 6 states.
- The Southeast - 6 cities, 4 states.
- The East Coast - 4 cities, 3 states.
- The West Coast - 6 cities, 4 states.
NJPW World streaming service will likely be the broadcasting home of the events, but some may end up on AXS TV in America.
