Boxer Tyson Fury is set to make professional wrestling history as his upcoming match against Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia will be one of the largest payoffs in the history of wrestling.
According to an article on TalkSport, Fury will bring home a whopping $15 million for his match with Strowman and while this record has been broken before with Floyd Mayweather vs. Big Show at WrestleMania 24, some insiders such as Dave Meltzer suggest that figure was overly inflated.
WWE has reportedly been able to secure Fury as he is a huge fan of WWE, but also the Saudi Arabia Prince, Mohammad bin Salman wanted Tyson to compete in Saudi and WWE received more money from the Saudi sports authority to make this happen.
One person not too happy with Fury's decision to cross over into the world of professional wrestling is his promoter Frank Warren who told TalkSport he knew nothing of Fury's plans and fears he could jeopardize his boxing career.
Tensions rise during a heated contract signing between undefeated heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman for their clash at WWE Crown Jewel on Oct. 31.
