As revealed last Friday, Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury has been announced for the WWE Crown Jewel Pay-Per-View on October 31 in Saudi Arabia.
For those wondering how the Fury was signed so fast by WWE to a match, it would seem there had been interest from Fury's team to work with WWE a few years back, but things never worked out.
This time around WWE reached out to Fury who jumped at the chance as he is a big WWE fan. In addition, the Wrestling Observer notes the Saudi Arabia Prince, Mohammad bin Salman wanted Tyson to compete in Saudi Arabia and WWE received more money from Saudi for making this happen.
Fury also is not competing until next year so a combination of good timing and money ultimately secured this deal to happen so fast.
Tyson Fury talks about his WWE experience, ongoing training and the rooting interest his family has in his match against Braun Strowman.
