WWE NXT: Tommaso Ciampa Makes Surprise Return

At the conclusion of tonight’s live edition of WWE NXT, former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa made his surprise return and confronted NXT Champion Adam Cole as Cole was congratulating Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish on their NXT Tag Team Championship victory over The Street Profits.

Ciampa stood in front of Cole and stared at the NXT Championship to end the broadcast.

Ciampa has been out of action since March of this year, which is when he was forced to relinquish the NXT Championship due to injury. Ciampa previously appeared at NXT TakeOver: New York to congratulate Johnny Gargano when he won the NXT Championship.
