AEW Dynamite: Jake Hager Makes Surprise Appearance After Main Event

Following the main event of tonight’s debut edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT, former WWE Superstar and current Bellator MMA heavyweight fighter Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) made a surprise appearance to help All Elite Wrestling World Champion Chris Jericho, Santana, Ortiz, and Sammy Guevara fight off The Young Bucks, Cody, and Dustin Rhodes.

After Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz defeated The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega in a Six-Man Tag Team Match (with Jon Moxley also appearing during the match and fighting with Omega away from the ring), the trio continued assaulting Matt and Nick Jackson until Cody came to the ring to attack Jericho. Guevara then came to the ring and hit Cody with a low blow, which prompted Dustin to rush to the ring and hit Guevara with a low blow as well. Hager then came into the ring and assaulted everyone before eventually powerbombing Dustin onto the timekeeper’s table that had been placed into the ring. The broadcast ended with Jericho, Santana, Ortiz, Guevara, and Hager standing tall in the ring.
