XFL Draft Dates Announced

The draft for the upcoming XFL football season will take place next month, the promotion has confirmed.

The XFL draft will take place October 15 and 16 in Stamford, CT, which wrestling fans will also know as the home of WWE headquarters.

This will be followed by a minicamp for drafted players on December 3 and a training camp from January 4 to 21.

The brain-child of WWE owner Vince McMahon, the XFL will launch in February 2020 with games showcased on FOX, FS1, ESPN and ABC.

In 2000, an earlier edition of the XFL launched, though the show lasted one season before closing it's doors the following year.
