Near the conclusion of tonight's SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon and his legal team came to the ring to address Kevin Owens about his wrongful termination lawsuit.
McMahon offers up two choices to Owens. He can continue with the lawsuit and McMahon will tie it up in the court system for years, costing Owens millions while not having a job, or Owens can drop the lawsuit and he will be reinstated on the spot and given back the $100,000 he was fined.
Owens refused Shane's options and offered up one of his own, a Ladder Match. If Owens defeats McMahon, then Shane is through with the company and leaves the business, but if he loses he will drop the lawsuit and accept his termination.
Shane accepted Owen's challenge and stipulations. It was not confirmed that the match would take place at Hell In A Cell, but it is more than likely where it will occur.
