On Tuesday's SmackDown Live, Brock Lesnar made a surprise return and challenged Kofi Kingston to a WWE Championship match on SmackDown’s 20th-anniversary episode, which will be the blue-brands debut on FOX on October 4.
In a further update, it looks as if WWE plans to continue as a longer-term storyline, as a face-to-face confrontation between Kingston and Lesnar is being advertised for the November 15 edition of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
This confrontation is set for a month after their match for the title, and it advertises Kofi as WWE Champion, of course, that could change after October 4.
