WWE NXT: Lio Rush Returns, Becomes Number-One Contender For WWE Cruiserweight Championship

During tonight’s live edition of WWE NXT, Lio Rush made his surprise return to WWE and went on to become the new number-one contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship by defeating Oney Lorcan.
It has not yet been announced when Rush will be facing Drew Gulak for the title.
Rush has been absent from WWE programming since after WrestleMania 35, which is also when he stopped appearing alongside Bobby Lashley. There were also rumors that Rush had heat backstage regarding issues involving his attitude.
