We saw the firing of Kevin Owens on last week's episode of SmackDown after Shane McMahon lost his King of The Ring semi-finals match against Chad Gable, in which Owens was officiating.
Moments ago on SDLive, we see that Kevin Owens had purchased his own ticket and was sitting quietly in the crowd. Shortly after, Shane McMahon is seen being served some sort of documents and then makes his way to the ring to address the papers as well as Owens being in the building.
McMahon states that it is a legal summons for the "Largest Wrongful Termination Lawsuit Ever" worth $25 million. Owens then adds that it is not only just for $25 million, but if he wins the lawsuit it will cost Shane McMahon his job.
