Details have emerged today of a number of incidents at the WrestlePro event in Rahway, New Jersey on Saturday Night involving former WWE star Big Cass which lead to police involvement.
Cass was booked to appear at the event, although it wasn't advertised. Those backstage were concerned with his behavior which was described as "aggressive and erratic", according to PWInsider.
Cass is also reported to have confronted Joey Janela in some kind of revenge which stemmed from Enzo Amore’s confrontation with Janela at the Blink 182 concert a number of weeks ago. A number of talent backstage at WrestlePro tried to calm the situation but things escalated and there is an unconfirmed report that Cass slapped Janela.
Cass' behavior escalated further when he started accusing people of stealing his sweater and then said he would "take care" of the entire locker room.
Cass is then reported to have got into a verbal altercation with Pat Buck and spat in his face before Buck punched Cass and took him down. This lead to the other talent removing Cass from the locker room.
Police were called from a station nearby and asked to escort Cass out of the venue.
Outside the building Cass had his car searched and an ambulance was called. Cass is reported to have been taken to hospital and his car towed as it was blocking over vehicles at the venue.
Big Cass has reportedly been in talks with WWE about a possible return, but this latest incident will not go down well and also Pat Buck is set to soon join the company as a producer, something that will not help Cass at all.
Big Cass is in the news and not for a good reason, really hope he gets the help he needs. pic.twitter.com/htmWeDGmBG
