For those wondering who is behind Cedric Alexander’s current push on WWE television, it is Paul Heyman.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Heyman wants to give Alexander a "slow push" to the top of the card.

Alexander is currently involved in a feud with United States Champion AJ Styles and will face him for the title at Clash of Champions.
