Sasha Banks On Her Hiatus From WWE, NXT Moving To The USA Network

WWE RAW Superstar Sasha Banks has said her recent hiatus allowed her to reevaluate her life, in an interview with the WFNZ Show.

Banks, 27, vanished from WWE events following her WrestleMania 35 loss to the IIconics, and rumors circulated that a backstage incident caused the Boss to threaten to quit the company.

Speaking to WFNZ, the former RAW Women's Champion said about competing non-stop for seven years, and said she needed a break.

She said: "People need to step back, re-evaluate their lives, take care of their souls, and their minds. I'm back and better than ever.

"I got myself a championship match on Sunday, so I think I did quite well for myself."

The match she is alluding to, will take place this Sunday at Clash of Champions against RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch.

Before joining the main roster in 2015, Banks dominated in NXT as Women's Champion, and spoke about the yellow brand's move to the USA Network later this month.

"NXT is its own brand. They're just really taking over and I'm so proud to be part of it," she said.

"Just seeing the growth here and there I saw at the performance center how many potential starts we have in the making. It's just cool that there's NXT on USA, where the whole world can see them now."

WWE NXT will move to the USA Network on September 18, with the first two episodes having the two hour show broadcast both on TV and the WWE Network.
