Chad Gable Overcomes the Odds and Defeats Shane McMahon to advance to the King of the Ring Finals!

Baron Corbin will faced Chad Gable at Clash of the Champions to crown a new King of the Ring.

Chad Gable was foced to face Shane McMahon in a last minute swap due to Elias' injury. Shane McMahon bribed Kevin Owens to be the referee. Shane McMahon would forget the $100,000 fine if he referred the match right. 

Gable got the first victory in about 5 seconds with one suplex. After that Kevin Owens refused to count to three for Chad Gable again. 

There was nothing that KO could do though whenever Chad Gable locked in a Kurt Angle-esque ankle lock which forced Shane McMahon to tap out.

Kevin Owens was attacked after the match and then fired for his insubordination.
