Update On Why First Two Episodes Of NXT On USA Network Are One Hour

The historic debut of WWE NXT on USA Network is fast approaching and while excitement is in the air many fans were left confused when WWE recently announced that the first (Sept. 18) and second (Sept. 25) episodes will only broadcast the first hour on USA Network with the second on WWE Network.

According to Bryan Alvarez from the Wrestling Observer, the reason for this is because of the popular longrunning show Suits which takes up part of NXT's timeslot and due to existing obligations USA Network is allowing Suits to finish out their slot.

WWE and USA worked their deal out so fast as to be ahead of their competition AEW the only feasible option was to put the second hour on the WWE Network.
