AEW All Out: Chris Jericho Defeats Adam Page To Become First-Ever AEW World Champion

At tonight’s AEW All Out event, Chris Jericho defeated “Hangman” Adam Page in the main event to become the first-ever AEW World Champion.

During the match, Jericho suffered a cut above one of his eyes that caused him to bleed profusely, and at one point, he also slightly shoved referee Aubrey Edwards and risked getting disqualified.

Jericho will now head into AEW’s upcoming October debut on TNT as champion; however, it remains unknown how the company will determine who his first challenger will be.
