CM Punk recently filmed a promo for this weekend's Starrcast III event taking place in his hometown of Chicago, IL. Punk shot the promo from inside of Pro Wrestling Tee's ring and looked to have a bit of fun while in it, taking a few jabs at a few past and present wrestlers along the way.
The former WWE World Champion sat in the corner as if he was ECW alumni Raven, as well as took a seat in the middle of the ring mimicking Aleister Black. Punk asks, "Everybody sits this way now, right?".
Punk even took a basic bump, to which he jokingly added that Conrad Thompson (Starrcast Founder) now owes him $20,000. Punk ended the video by knocking on all the talent that had canceled on the event.
"I'm sorry to inform you all that I have to cancel my upcoming appearance at Starrcast," Punk laughed. "That's what everybody does, right? Everybody cancels. Well, I'm not f--king cancelling because I don't cancel, because I do what I want. Nobody can tell me where to go, who to work for, who to sign autographs for, whether I have to smile to take pictures or not. I will smile because I am actually going to be happy to see you, but I'm not going to cancel unlike everybody else who's ever done Starrcast. I will be there and I'll see you Saturday."
