WWE canceled their entire SmackDown tour last weekend due to poor ticket sales and the need for talent on Monday Night Raw.
The last year hasn't been good for WWE house shows on the whole with poor attendance and as such the company has discussed reducing the number of live events and holding duel branded house shows, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The idea is that a Supershow would have the drawing power and eliminate the need for shows in smaller markets.
