Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore has confirmed he will return to the ring, over a year after his last match.
Amore, who now goes by nZo, will be appearing at Northeastern Wrestling's event, Prison Break on Aug. 16 at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, though his opponent hasn't been named.
A former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, nZo last competed as part of the company on the January 8, edition of RAW, where he faced Cedric Alexander.
Shortly before the RAW 25th-anniversary show later that month, Amore was fired after he failed to inform the company of sexual assault allegations against him, though the Certified-G claimed he didn't know of the allegations.
In November 2018, Amore made a scene at the WWE Survivor Series Pay Per View, appearing in the crowd before being ejected.
In April this year, Amore made a similar incident at a Ring of Honor event, alongside longtime tag partner Big Cass.
