WWE Cancels Three SmackDown Live Events This Weekend

WWE has yet again canceled more SmackDown house shows that were set to take place this coming weekend. The cancellations include Saturday’s event in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Sunday’s show at Davis S. Palmer Arena in Danville, IL, and Monday’s event in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

WWE noted that the cancellations were due to a "scheduling conflict" which a number of sources are reporting as not true, in fact, it is likely due to low ticket sales.

Below is the official WWE announcement:

Canceled – WWE Live SummerSlam Heatwave Tour

STAMFORD, Conn., July 31, 2019 – The WWE (NYSE: WWE) SmackDown live event scheduled for Sunday, August 4TH at Davis S. Palmer Arena in Danville, IL has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.

All fans who purchased tickets for the Danville, IL live event should go to their point of purchase for refunds.
