NXT Possibly Being Considered By Fox To Move To TV

Starting Oct.4th, SmackDown Live will be moving from the USA Network over to FOX. The show will be switching from Tuesday to Friday nights. FOX will also be airing a weekly show on FS1 every Tuesday. No official start date has been given at this time for that, however.

It is common knowledge by now that AEW has a major TV deal with TNT and will be airing weekly starting in the Fall. The biggest rumor floating around is that the weekly program will air on Wednesday nights. With that said, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that FOX is considering putting NXT on FS1 and airing the show on Wednesday nights.

Here are a few exerts from Dave Meltzer:

"The idea of NXT on Wednesday nights, what an absolute shocker," Meltzer said. "It's gotta be FS1, they're not about to put it on FOX."

"The only thing that's official is the talk show on FS1," he added. "There's definitely, they brought up at the meeting, the idea of NXT maybe getting on television."

It should also be noted that Meltzer mentioned a one hour special will be aired on FOX sometime in September, to hype up the arrival of SmackDown Live to their network.
