SmackDown Live Town Hall

Posted By: Damon Delmont on Jul 16, 2019

SmackDown Live Town Hall

SmackDown Live starts off with Shane McMahon announcing the first-ever "Town Hall", where SDLive Superstars can air their grievances. McMahon also gives Kevin Owens the night off, after a quick exchange of words.

As long as the Superstar is "respectful", McMahon will be happy to hear what they have to say. The Big Dog, Roman Reigns, takes the mic first and lets  McMahon know that "No one respects him" and that he can "kiss his ass".

Reigns is followed by Charlotte Flair, where she sucks up to McMahon. Flair is interrupted by Liv Morgan, but quickly cut off by Shane. Former 205 Live Superstar Buddy Murphy tells Kevin Owen's to keep his name out of his mouth, or he'll shut it up for him. Apollo Crews takes the stage to defend Owen's prior statements from last week's pipebomb, but is cut short by Andrade and Vega.

Elias is next in line to voice his opinions, but the New Day takes control of the conversation. Shane only listens for a moment before having everyone's mic turned off.

The segment concludes with Cesaro asking Shane for a rematch with Aleister Black, which McMahon grants. Owens then makes his way out of the crowd to appear behind the unknowing McMahon and gives Shane a stunner, before returning through the crowd and exits the arena.
