Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff Named Executive Directors of Raw and Smackdown! Live

WWE has named Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff Executive Directors of Raw and Smackdown Live respectively. Both will report directly to Vince McMahon and are expected to oversee the creative direction of their respective shows. Surely this is a major chess piece maneuver in the recent ratings slump, however, there is no word on how this will affect the Wild Card Rule, if at all. Although the title "Executive Director" is new to the brands it is unclear exactly how it differs from their previous position in WWE with Eric once leading the Raw brand as General Manager and Paul Heyman on Smackdown in previous years.
