In the main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, AJ Styles made his return to the ring from injury to defeat new WWE United States Champion Ricochet.

For this match, Ricochet’s championship was not on the line.

During the match, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson came down to ringside; however, Styles exited the ring and told the duo that he wouldn’t allow them to ruin the match, and that the match wouldn’t continue until they went back to the backstage area.

Following his victory, Styles handed the United States Championship to Ricochet and helped him back to his feet before raising his arm in the air.
