[WATCH] R-Truth Crashes Drake Maverick's Wedding, Becomes New WWE 24/7 Champion

The happiest day in Drake Maverick's life ended in tragedy today when he lost the WWE 24/7 Championship back to R-Truth.

Maverick, who married MYC 2017 participant Renee Michelle, captured the title from Truth on this week's SmackDown Live after trying to find the rapping Superstar.

After being married, Maverick and Renee walked the aisle, with the British star wearing the title at all times.

Things quickly turned sour though, as a referee appeared, and as soon as Maverick realised what was happening, he was rolled up by Truth.

Escaping the venue, this marks Truth's sixth reign with the title, as Maverick quickly gave chase to the new champion.
