Details On Why Davey Boy Smith Jr Is Leaving NJPW

There have been ramblings over the last few days that Davey Boy Smith Jr. is no longer working for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Smith revealed on social media that he has been unhappy with his booking in the company.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Smith wanted to go to Impact Wrestling but NJPW denied him that request. Meltzer added that NJPW is still not happy with Impact wrestling for their handling of Kazuchika Okada during his run 2010-2011, where he played a character based off Kado from the Green Hornet Series.
