WWE SmackDown Live Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura recently spoke with StraitsTimes.com. During the interview, "The King of Strong Style" revealed how much longer he plans on wrestling:
"I want to wrestle at least five more years. I'm 39 now. (Former MLB) baseball player Ichiro Suzuki retired at 45 and he was such an influence for Japanese sportsmen, especially those who lived in other countries. And so I need to wrestle until I'm 45 years old."
Nakamura is a former two-time WWE United States Champion, two-time WWE NXT Champion, 2018 Men's Royal Rumble Match winner, five-time NJPW IWGP Intercontinental Champion, and a three-time NJPW IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
