Rumored Plans For Universal Title Match At Tonight's WWE Super Showdown

The WWE may once again open a pay per view with the Universal Championship on the line, according to a post by WrestleVotes.

According to the rumor, the plan is for the winner of the Rollins-Corbin match to immediately face Mr. Money in the Bank Brock Lesnar afterwards, though the Beast will lose via disqualification.

This would be the third consecutive men's MITB cash-in failure, after Braun Strowman failed in 2018 (thanks to Lesnar), and Corbin failed in 2017, thanks to interference by John Cena.
