All Japan Pro Wrestling Star Atsushi Aoki Dies Following Motorcycle Accident In Tokyo, Japan

Japan-based NikkanSports.com, along with several other sources, is reporting that All Japan Pro Wrestling star Atsushi Aoki has died following a motorcycle accident in Tokyo, Japan.

According to the report, the accident occurred at the tunnel of the capital expressway of Kitanomaru Park 1 in Chiyoda-ku, which is located in Tokyo. The report further states that Aoki was unable to properly turn, which led to the accident. Aoki was later transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

Aoki was 41 years old and was also the head trainer of the AJPW Dojo.

Just last month, Aoki won the AJPW Junior Heavyweight Championship for the fourth time after defeating Koji Iwamoto in an event at Korakuen Hall.

On behalf of everyone at WNS, we would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Atsushi Aoki.
