WWE NXT Takeover XXV: Adam Cole Wins NXT Championship Defeating Johnny Gargano

It's main event time as Josiah Williams accompanies Adam Cole to the ring as he sings his theme song.  Johnny makes his way to the ring, and the match is on. At one point, Johnny Gargano gets Cole into a Gargano Escape, but Cole reverses into a figure-4-leglock.  Gargano manages to reverse the pressure and break the hold.  Gargano knocks Cole to the outside.  He tries for a suicide dive, but Cole nails him with a superkick.  He nails a Panama Sunrise on the outside.  They move into the ring before Cole misses a Last Shot only to lock in a Cole Escape!  Gargano escapes the hold and nails a Last Shot to Cole!  It's only good for a two count as they rise to their feet with strikes back and forth. Cole nails a Last Shot that's only good for a two count.  He begins freaking out as he grabs a steel chair.  The referee comes out to argue with him and Gargano inadvertently takes him out.  Gargano hits a spinning heel kick to knock the chair into Cole!  Gargano rolls him into the ring and covers, but the referee is down.

He wakes up the referee, but Cole is back up to his feet.  Cole superkicks the injured knee out from underneath Gargano before nailing the Panama Sunrise followed by a Last Shot for the three count!  The Undisputed Era comes out after the match is over to celebrate with him as they lift him up.
