On tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Shane McMahon competed in a rare singles match on the broadcast against Lance Anoai, who is the cousin of Roman Reigns.
In McMahon’s corner during the match was his “insurance policy” Drew McIntyre. Prior to the match beginning, McMahon spoke about the years-long relationship between the McMahon and Anoai families, mentioning names such as The Wild Samoans, “High Chief” Peter Maivia, and The Rock.
Following McMahon’s victory, following interference from McIntyre, he again placed Anoai in a submission hold and talked down Wild Samoan member Sika, Reigns’s father, before Reigns came out and attacked McMahon.
