New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that the legendary TAKA Michinoku will be forced to miss out on the remainder of the Bets of the Super Juniors tournament due to a foot injury.
The 45-year-old former WWE Light Heavyweight Champion was scheduled to compete in two more matches in the tournament on May 29th and May 31st.

On Friday’s Best of the Super Juniors event in Korakuen Hall, TAKA Michinoku sustained an injury to his right foot that led to him forfeiting his match against Dragon Lee Sunday in Chiba.
After evaluation, it has been determined that Michinoku will miss the remainder of the Best of the Super Juniors tour. His tournament matches will be forfeited, and his opponents on May 29 in Nagoya and May 31 in Ehime will receive an automatic two points.
In addition, changes have been made to the following undercard tag matches on May 30 in Osaka and June 3 in Okayama:
