At tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank event, Bayley cashed in her newly-won Women’s Money in the Bank contract to defeat Charlotte Flair and become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Prior to the cash-in, Bayley rushed to the ring to assist Becky Lynch, who was being assaulted by Flair and Lacey Evans after Flair had defeated Lynch for the championship. Flair then attempted to hit Bayley with the title, only for Bayley to move and cause Flair to hit the corner post. 

Bayley would then cash in and hit Flair with a Diving Elbow Drop before pinning her for the victory.

Bayley’s victory marks her first reign as champion, as well as a two-time overall champion in WWE.
