WWE.com is reporting that SmackDown Live Superstar Jeff Hardy underwent successful knee surgery on Thursday. His recovery time is expected to be between six to nine months.

Jeff Hardy underwent successful surgery Thursday to repair multiple lingering issues in his right knee, all of which were exacerbated in an attack by the monstrous Lars Sullivan on SmackDown LIVE. As a result of Jeff’s injuries, The Hardy Boyz were forced to relinquish the SmackDown Tag Team Titles.
In an Instagram post after surgery, The Charismatic Enigma proclaimed, “Let the healing begin.
Hardy revealed in an interview Tuesday night that he was expecting to be out of action for 6-9 months.
