WWE Champion Kofi Kingston has said that he, Xavier Woods and Big E are all eligible to defend the title under the Freebird rule.
The rule, named after the legendary group the Fabulous Freebirds, allow multiple members of a team to defend titles, a rule used by the New Day throughout their five Tag title reigns.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Kingston said that he would be just as supportive to either of his teammates if they had won the gold at WrestleMania 35.
He said: "If Big E or Woods were WWE Champion right now I would support them as much as they have supported me. And they feel the same way.
"We all work together and when one of us achieves the ultimate level of success, we all achieve it."
So far, WWE has not recognized the Freebird rule, and only acknowledge Kingston as the WWE Champion.
