It's been announced that WWE will be hosting a pay-per-view event on Sunday, June 23rd called Stomping Grounds. This event will take place in the Tacoma Dome in Washington.
According to reports from F4WOnline.com and Fightful.com, Stomping Grounds will replace the Backlash pay-per-view that was originally scheduled to take place on June 16th in San Diego, California's Pechanga Arena. One of the reasons why Backlash was canceled was due to WWE's Saudi Arabian pay-per-view, which is currently scheduled for June 7th. WWE made the decision that they did not want to have two pay-per-view events so close together, so Stomping Grounds has been announced to take place one week later than what Backlash was scheduled for.
F4WOnline.com reports that tickets for Stomping Grounds will be available to the general public starting this Friday (May 3rd), while the pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, May 1st.
An advertisement for Stomping Grounds can be found on the Tacoma Dome's Facebook page.
