WWE RAW Superstar Lio Rush has said that there will always be "people out there that'll try to tear you down" in response to reports of backstage issues.
In a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer suggested that the self-proclaimed Man of the Hour has rubbed people up the wrong way.
"Rush is a very confident man. That can rub people the wrong way, even though you have to have that to be a star in this business. The story goes that he’s made it very clear to many people that he thinks he should be a/the top guy on the brand, and hasn’t been shy about saying it.”
Taking to Twitter, Rush posted the following response:

Neither Rush nor Bobby Lashley appeared on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, though Lashley did work the dark main event for the live audience, without Rush.
This isn't the first instance of Rush having heat, as he faced backlash for comments made about Tenille 'Emma' Dashwood following her release from WWE in 2017.
