WWE Hall of Famer 'Road Dogg' Jesse James will remain with the company despite re-signing from his creative position on SmackDown Live, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Earlier reports stated that James quit the company after clashing with Vince McMahon, though this new report states he will be found a new position in the company.
“Sources tell us it was a mutual decision to change Brian’s position with the impending move to Fox on the horizon, and not necessarily him “stepping down.” We’re told WWE wants to keep his position flexible at this time and use him as a utility player, so they can see where he’d fit best going forward.”
James was most recently seen at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, where he was inducted as part of D-Generation X.
His departure from the blue brand isn't the only major shake-up backstage, as writer Robert Evans has revealed he quit the company, despite earlier reports saying he had been fired.
