Vince McMahon Fired A Writer Because Bret Hart Mentioned His Name

Vince McMahon reportedly fired one of his creative writers following the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony because Bret Hart mentioned his name during his speech. The writer who has not been named was responsible for the segment in which Bret Hart was also attacked by a fan.

The revelation was made by Sean Waltman on the “X-Pac 12360” podcast,

“I think Bret mentioned Vince a bunch of times,” Waltman said. “Vince got really hot. I think somebody might have gotten fired. Then we went out and said it a million times and no one got fired. It’s not funny for the guy that f*cking lost his job.”

Waltman added, “I’m not kidding. No, I’m not. Vince was pissed. I understand. That’s a thing for him. It’s his company and people go out there and they do that.”
