WWE WrestleMania 35 Results: Samoa Joe Retains United States Championship Against Rey Mysterio

At tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 35 event, Samoa Joe emerged victorious in a match against Rey Mysterio to retain the United States Championship.

Joe was able to win the match and hold onto the title by making Mysterio submit to the Coquina Clutch.

In the days prior to this match taking place, it had been reported that Mysterio had suffered an injury at the hands of Baron Corbin during a match that the two had on a recent edition of Monday Night Raw; however, it was later reported that Mysterio had been cleared to compete in tonight’s match against Joe.
